Emily Wright is about to graduate with her MSc in Physics from the University of Victoria under the supervision of Rogerio de Sousa. Emily is also a graduate of the NSERC CREATE in Quantum Computing program where she was an NSERC CREATE scholar, which included taking courses in quantum hardware and software, professional development workshops, and completing an industrial internship in quantum computing.
Emily is moving to Munich, Germany in the fall where she will be earning her PhD at the Technical University of Munich as a member of the International Max Plank Research School of Quantum Science and Technology.
