Students gathered on May 11 and 12 for this annual event that is part of the NSERC CREATE in Quantum Computing Program. Hosted and sponsored by the Quantum Algorithms Institute, the two-day event brought together graduate and undergraduate students from SFU, UBC and UVic to discuss the differences between quantum hardware and software. Faculty experts were on hand to assist student groups as they prepared slides answering questions from each side. The workshop ended with a career panel, with contributors from IBM, Xanadu, D-Wave, CMC and UVic.
