On October 6, Students and Industry Members gathered for a Career Fair at the Quantum Algorithms Institute. The purpose of the event was to bring together members of the quantum computing industry to connect with undergraduate and graduate students in BC. Each company presented some of their company history and career opportunities, while also sharing best practices for industry readiness and finding work post-graduation. Students were then free to network with the industry guests, asking questions and gaining valuable knowledge and connections.
The following companies were represented at the event: CMC Microsystems, Institut Quantique, QuEra Computing, Quantacet, Photonic Inc., Ansys, and D-Wave Systems Inc.
